Move Out Checklist

Please review the Move-Out Procedures for vacating our properties to make sure that there are no deductions against your security deposit. Please make sure that the property is left in the same condition as it was at the time of move in.

Attention Tenants Cleaner Notice

You can use the cleaner of your choice, but it is your responsibility to check the cleaner’s work against the list. Please make sure that you schedule your professional carpet cleaning weeks in advance of move-out and notify landlord of your scheduled date and time for cleaning. Finally, if you need a special pick-up for any trash or belongings that will not fit in your trash can please let Braymor know on or before Monday July 17, 2023. Your last trash day is Wednesday July 19, 2023

Cleaning Tips

Carpet

Please inspect your carpet as soon as possible and let Braymor know whether there are any tears, burns, or stains. Please remember to schedule your house carpet cleaning early. Don’t wait until the last minute.

Kitchen

Save sweeping and mopping for last. Otherwise, you work inside cabinets and on countertops your work inside the cabinets and on countertops will scatter dirt across freshly cleaned floors.

Bathroom

Make sure that all bathrooms are completely clean- including the shower/tub, toilet, vanity, and bath fan. Please notify Braymor of any clogged sink or shower drains.

Submit Move-Out Checklist

At the time of move-out make sure that you leave your bedroom key in the bedroom lock. Place all exterior door keys and parking hangers if provided on the kitchen counter and submit your move-out checklist.

General Cleaning Throughout the Home

Remove any marks from walls, doors, ceilings, and all switches

Clean and remove dust from all baseboards, tops of doors, shelves, and above cupboards

Clean all light fixtures, ensuring any insects are removed from inside and that the outside is free of marks, grease, and dust

Clean and remove dust from all ceiling fans

Clean blinds and curtains, ensuring they are returned to the same move-in condition

Clean and remove dust from all windows and windowsills

Vacuum clean all window tracks and sliding door tracks to remove dust and insects

Sweep or mop all non-carpeted floors, ensuring no drying marks or stains remain

Vacuum all carpeted floors and ensure that there are no marks or stains remain

Ensure carpet is professionally cleaned, allowing for fair wear and tear Ensure cleaning includes vacuuming, and cleaning any dirty registers or floor air returns

Ensure all drawers, shelves, and cupboards are clean

Remove cobwebs and any marks left by insects

Kitchen Cleaning

Clean all cupboards and doors inside and out, ensuring no stains or crumbs remain

Clean the stove top, being sure no stains or burn marks remain around elements

Clean inside and outside of the oven and griller, including racks, trays, and glass

Clean inside and outside of the refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave

Clean walls and floor around refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave areas

Clean tapware, sink, drains and plugs

Clean the range hood body and remove and clean the filter

Remove dust and greasy build up on exhaust fans

Defrost and unplug your refrigerator

Bathroom Cleaning

Clean toilet

Clean shower/tub and enclosure (no stains)

Clean bath fan

Clean medicine cabinet

Clean inside and outside of bathroom vanity and sink

Ensure no hair or soap build up remains in shower or bath drains

Remove built up soap scum mildew and hair product stains

Ensure towel racks and toilet paper holder are clean and in place

As with other rooms, ensure door, walls, floors, mirrors, windows, window tracks, cupboards and drawers are cleaned thoroughly

Laundry Cleaning

Ensure the washing machine is free of marks and detergent

Clean behind and around the washing machine space

Remove lint from the dryer

Clean behind and around the dryer space

Basement

Sweep basement floor

Sweep basement steps and landing

Removal of all trash and belongings whatsoever

Exterior

Exterior doors are wiped down and clean on both sides

Screen doors are wiped and clean on both sides and screen door, window, and screen are in place

Porches swept, wiped clean and mopped

No trash, furniture, or belongings are left on the porch or in the yard, bushes, and parking areas

Mailbox is empty and the tenant name labels have been removed

Security System (if applicable)

Security system is deactivated, and the security code and safe word have been provided to Braymor

Carpet Cleaning Invoice

Carpet has been professionally cleaned and the invoice has been left on the kitchen counter

Spectrum Cable/Internet

Spectrum Cable/Internet service has been deactivated

Bedrooms
